Current foundation
An operational world model.
Janus maintains operational state as supported observations arrive and conditions change. Observations record what a source reported; entities represent the people, objects or places those observations concern. Relationships connect them, while time and surrounding conditions provide operational context.
Source references preserve provenance: where the evidence came from. History, freshness and uncertainty remain part of the model, so a recent observation can be distinguished from older or less certain information. The picture evolves with the evidence.
Current reasoning uses defined conditions and bounded, explainable assessments. This provides a foundation for a common operating picture: a shared understanding of known activity and remaining uncertainty. The model supplies context for human interpretation and situational awareness.
